While doing my usual and customary trolling for data about our favorite beverage, I usually find quite a few noteworthy PUBlications featuring beer, brewing, and imbibition. While some may opine that hops are the soul of beer, yeast is the more likely candidate. At least as far as Science is concerned. While the future of beer and brewing look bright, there is also another noteworthy trend about to descend upon us. Edible can retainers! Yes, there’s actually a brewery in Florida making edible six pack rings (which will compost if not eaten!) and are willing to share their formula with other, more progressive breweries. Well, if you think that’s weird, try brewing up bricks for habitats for humanity. Yup, that’s right, spent grains can be made into bricks to make homes for people! Even our ancient ancestor’s brewed beer, and Science has now elucidated the oldest known brew from ancient China. So with all these facts about beer, I think it’s time to go and do some personal research, and development of my own!
